Flying farm drones legally

Steps

   Register the aircraft

   The aircraft must be registered and identified before operation.

   Get airspace approval

   Check restricted and prohibited zones; apply for permission when flying outside permitted areas.

   Qualified pilots

   Operators must meet the requirements. NG's drone service uses certified pilots.

   Keep flight logs

   NG stores flight plans, paths and results in the crop log – useful for authorities and buyers.
